Please join the group if you would like to view the Yahoo Calendar and receive emails to the entire group of students and graduates of the program. The flying experience in a Paraglider is unreal when you consider the dreamlike flying, convenience and ease of operation.Īirtime uses a Yahoo Group called Airtime-Pilots to track events and lesson scheduling. With Paragliding, you can literally set up your wing, put on your harness and be ready to fly in about 5 minutes. Airtime was the first school in the San Francisco Bay Area to offer Paragliding Lessons as well as one of the first Hang Gliding schools in the country to begin a program with Paragliding. I quickly took to this amazing new form of flying.Ī Paraglider is an aircraft that can fly as high and free as a Hang Glider, but fits in a backpack and eliminates the hassle factor. Shortly after this, in 1988, Paragliding was first introduced to me. In 1988 I purchased the Hang Gliding half of the San Francisco Windsports business and renamed it Airtime of San Francisco. By 1986 I had earned Hang Gliding Instructor rating. In 1984, I was running the Windsurfing school for San Francisco Windsports (A school that taught both Hang Gliding and Windsurfing). Jeff Greenbaum flying at 12,500′ in Venezuela in 1991. Upper MR wind (rotor area for S, SW, WSW) good for W, NW.If speed makes you uneasy, the gentle nature of a paraglider might be more appealing. If you are more averse to turbulence and instability, the steady nature of a hang glider can be your friend. If your decision on which type of wing to learn is based on safety, consider for yourself which environment you would feel less comfortable in. Hang gliding and paragliding both present a unique set of risks. That said, both hang gliding and paragliding can be practiced with a great deal of safety if the pilot exercises good judgement before, during, and after every single flight. A paraglider can be set up for launch in as little as 5 minutes comparatively.Īll forms of aviation are inherently risky. Safely assembling a hang glider for launch will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Hang gliders take more time to set up than paragliders. This makes transport (both on the ground and overseas) much more difficult with a hang glider. Whereas a paraglider can fit into a backpack, a hang glider must be packed up in a large linear bag. Hang gliders are less portable than paragliders. While high-wind / low-speed landings are possible, hang gliders typically require either a medium sized field or a runway in which to land. ![]() That said, don’t use a “more stable aircraft” to fly in conditions that you shouldn’t be flying in.ĭue to their greater ground speed, hang-gliders need require more space to land than a paraglider. They are able to fly safely at higher wind speeds relative to their non-rigid cousins. Hang gliders have a larger “window of suitable conditions” when compared to paragliders. They cannot collapse in flight, and are generally less susceptible to turbulence This allows them to glide further distances between thermals, and have longer overall flights.ĭue to their semi-rigid nature, hang-gliders are more stable in flight than their paragliding cousins. Compared to paragliders, hang-gliders have a much faster ground speed. ![]()

5/29/2023 0 Comments Crazy stupid love screenit![]() ![]() So you khun control that that way? Power indicators I love video lights with power indicators uh because why, as photographers yes, ever do you know what a back to back is? Uh, wedding photographers talk about back to backs a lot, it's, when you have to do a wedding saturday, come home and do a wedding sunday or something like that right after each other. ![]() Ah, daylight and that's what I love about this particular fast but and video but any video light will work it's powerful um this particular it's ah, eight hundred lux and so make sure it's pretty powerful has do more control. I like to take a lot of shots when I'm shooting available light because just focusing issues and sharpness and just to make sure you know, I just rip a bump a bunch of shots um just to make sure I got one really good winning focus and, uh here's the the light I I like the features on this ah it's daylight balance so I like music video lights that are daylight bounce because I use it in conjunction with natural light a lot what? So I want the light to look the same and that's why it's important? I know there's a lot of other video lights out there that have the greens ten so are a pink tinge to it, but I made sure that this is like true. Ly at s o say sixteen hundred or eight hundred and above that's the perfect candidate ah perfect time to use video light so you could see it sixteen hundred to point a video light there so to me this completes the full spectrum of light flash and video light so when I go on a job I bring both because I want to be able to um cover the full spectrum and some times in a low light situation I love using video light so if you're gonna mix flash with video light then I automatically set my flash toe one sixty fourth power and just go from there that's just my default it usually works then I adjust from that point okay how do use video light one set your camera s o two eight hundred or greater um and with the new cameras now who cares when you set that s o b is going to be fine but in general I'll probably start depending on how much ambient lights in the room and and so forth I'll probably usually start around eight hundred sixteen hundred right there so uh use a low f stop and the reason why we need to use a low f stop is because we have to keep our shutter speed high because we don't have flashed to titan the image to freeze it so therefore depending on your shake and what to do but I say in general try to keep it above fiftieth of a second if you have image stabilization you know that's putting you at one fiftieth of a second or a hundredth of a second in shake level so I say, you know, make sure you're above a fiftieth of a second and you should be cool. So when to use a video light? Well, as you can see our flash chart here, the best places to use the video light is in this bottom half of the chart so when you're basical. All right video like using constant light sources now using a constant light source is actually a lot easier because you can see the light right and you can see where the shadow is and so why don't we just use this all the time? Why do we have to use flash well, which is if we can see the light in this is easier why don't we just use this powerful situation? Ah, yes it's not as powerful, so this is like one hundred times less powerful than a flash and that's the reason why um we can't use video light all the time, otherwise I would because you can see the light it s so it's what you see is what you get and that's what I love about video light, especially when you're doing a wedding and you need to do a quick set up with the minute or so you can see the light and it makes it a lot easier to control when you can see it. ![]() 5/29/2023 0 Comments Vnc connect mobile![]() ![]() (9) PcHelpWare has a preconnect screen that allow to select a RDP or the console session. But as on Little Big Adventure, Vachey has perfect control over how to build a composition. It’s a surprisingly static, pensive opening that underscores a peaceful state of mind, contently frozen in time. All that the track initially presents is a beautiful, sparse piano melody, backed by the sounds of playing children. ![]() Its opening track “Song for Gabriel” is strikingly minimalist compared to the franchise’s trademark orchestral richness. The Little Big Adventure 2 soundtrack has more surprises up its sleeve. Mind you, it’s not a substantial issue – Vachey’s writing is at least as strong as it was on Little Big Adventure. However, the Little Big Adventure 2 score is even a smidgen shorter than its predecessor. The larger scope of Little Big Adventure 2’s world would suggest that a more extensive soundtrack was the logical result. If there were any complaints, it would have been that the soundtrack was rather short. Of course you should rarely ever have to use Force Quit. If I do an Up Arrow with Notes selected in the Dock and then I hold the Option key down notice how Hide and Quit change to Hide Others and Force Quit. You could also bring up more Menu items if you use the Option key on the Menus here. So instead of just Return I'll do Command Option and Return and Notes will come up and all the other apps will be hidden. You can do that using Command and Option. But let's say I want to Hide all the other apps and just launch one. Now when you launch an app like this, like Calendar say, and then you go to do it again and launch another app, like let's say Reminders, it will launch Reminders over the Calendar app there. Let's say I want to get to something like FaceTime I could type fa and you could see it jumps to that. Or f to get to the first app that starts with f. So instead of left or right arrows I can use a letter key like m to get to Messages, the first app that starts with m. As a matter of fact you can use letter keys while in the Dock here. Yes, I can use a letter key here, like for instance L to jump to one. Here you see in System Preferences I can get to any part of System Preferences. For Finder I get a list of recent locations and other functions I can use by using Up Arrow, going to what I want, and then pressing Return. For instance for Launchpad, if I do that, I get a list of all of the apps there. So it depends on which app I'm using as to what appears there. I'll use right arrow there to go into Options. Now in addition to moving right and left I can also use the Up Arrow to go into the Menu there. Notice that when I use it again it remembers my last position. ![]() If I want to launch something like let's say Calendar, I can press return and Calendar launches. Now I can use the Arrow Keys to move through the items. So with Control F3 it will bring the Dock up if you have it hidden and you see it selects the first item there, Finder. I'm going to switch this On so I can use this easily with Control F3 here. Some other keyboard shortcut that you're not using for something else like maybe Command Option D or something like that. You can just click here and assign it to something else. So if you plan on using this a lot you may want to actually go and change this to something else. ![]() Otherwise if it is Off you have to find the fn key on your keyboard. So you'd have to turn this On to actually do Control F3. Another thing is that under Keyboard here if you've got this thing turned Off then using these keys, like for instance the F12, will increase volume as you can see there. For one thing Control is at the bottom of your keyboard and F3 is at the top. Now that's not always the most convenient one to use. But you can get to that with a keyboard shortcut that you'll find when you go to Keyboard here and then look for this one, Move focus to the Dock. After all the main way is to move your pointer down to the bottom and then click on an icon. How do you actually use the Dock with just the keyboard. So if you change it to something else or turned it off that's why it may not be working. It's Option Command D and you have to have it checked. Go to Launchpad & Dock right here and you'll see Turn Dock Hiding On and Off. Now this keyboard shortcut is found in System Preferences under Keyboard and then Shortcuts. So it gets out of the way when you don't need it but when you do need it it will appear without any extra action. But only while the pointer is along the bottom. ![]() It hides except that if you then move your pointer to the bottom it will appear. You can Hide the Dock using the keyboard shortcut Option Command D. So the first one I want to show you simply hides the Dock because it takes up a lot of space at the bottom of the screen or even if you use it to the left or the right side. But, in fact, you have a lot of keyboard control over the Dock and can do just about anything with keyboard shortcuts. Something you would use mostly with your mouse or trackpad to move the pointer over an icon to launch an app. So the Dock seems like a very visual tool.
